For several decades now Thailand's electronic and electrical appliances industry has continuously expanded. During all these years, this sector has not only played a highly important role in the Kingdom’s economy, but has also converted Thailand into the regional leader in South-East Asia.

In 2019-2020, demand for electrical appliances is expected to expand on the back of  generally improving economic conditions, and strengthening purchasing power for households and an expanding real estate sector, which will in turn drive greater
demand for household electrical goods; and increasing demand for replacement electrical appliances; and forecasts for hotter weather, and with that increased demand for air conditioners.
